She's Coming....

I don't know where this blog came from late last nite.... It was beginning with, "The bitch is inside of you....." and then revamped itself as I wrote..... 

Have you met her? She’s a bitch. She sneaks up on you and as soon as you think shit is going great, she throws a wrench in it and creates havoc in your life. She only shows up at certain times though. She never says much either. Her presence is enough to say a thousand words and can ruin you for just minutes or forever; all depending on what brought her to you.

What’s crazy is that most people never expect her to come. They think everything will continue to go smoothly and their world will continue to be perfect because she’s never shown up before. But she waits for the perfect moment. She waits till you’re getting ready to become your best to storm in and show you your true self because what you think is your best, is all false. And she lets it be known.

Maybe you can call her your mirror. That’s a good nickname for her. She reflects what you’re doing. She shows you how you’re living. She shows you how you’re treating other people. She brings your true colors to light so you can see your own reflection. She’s the perfect copy of your authentic self.

Most don’t know how to react when she shows up. They are taken by surprise; caught off guard, embarrassed, confused and even shamed. After the immediate response, the next response is what’s important. Will you take a good look at her and see yourself for what she’s trying to show you? Or will you be like the Wicked Witch in Sleeping Beauty, only wanting to continue seeing what you want to see? Trying to deny her entrance into your life and claim she is a lie while your world falls apart around you? When she comes, it’s best to just accept and move on, because you’re only giving her more reason to come back to you when you deny her.

For you to accept though, you would have to first recognize her entrance for who she is. You may want to create the idea that she showed up for other reasons besides her true purpose as your reflection. You may want to blame her on others instead of yourself. Some people, no matter how many times she may show up, will never get it. They will continue welcoming her into their lives.

Now of course, what would be best, would be to not give her reason to show up. That is actually possible. Because she doesn’t have to come. You make that decision by your choices and actions.

I know…. For some, it’s easier said than done. In that case, you may as well leave the door open and don't wait up for her.
